TZE Program Requirements Updated with Publication of TZE Version 3.0
The streamlined TZE program requirements align with RBA’s Chemical Management Leadership Program (CMLP) by focusing on eliminating exposures to Priority Chemicals, verification, and reporting. The revisions remove requirements that will be covered by the CMLP, improve readability, and add equivalency for appropriate CMLP requirements.
With these updates, TZE V3.0 can better support progress toward our goal of protecting workers from chemical hazards in the electronics supply chain.
CEPN Represented at Recent RBA-BMZ-GIZ Due Diligence Conference
On May 14, the Responsible Business Alliance in cooperation with the Initiative for Global Solidarity, which is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), held “Due Diligence at a Crossroads: Paths to Greater Impact” in Brussels. The conference brought policymakers, industry leaders, and experts together to discuss the evolving due diligence landscape particularly as it relates to the implementation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.
CEPN Senior Director Pamela Brody-Heine was honored to participate in a panel on Environmental Due Diligence with a focus on chemical management.
Open-Ended Working Group for the Global Framework on Chemicals
